Merger Sencit and Oaktree ICT services

Apeldoorn, January 24, 2018 – Oaktree ICT Services, from Zaandam, and Sencit, with locations in Amstelveen and Apeldoorn, have consolidated their intensive cooperation by merging. The fusion of the two companies creates an broadly oriented IT supplier with nationwide coverage. The organization focuses on providing IT cloud services and Managed Services for the business market, with the highest level of service and a personal approach.

As a result of the merger between Oaktree and Sencit, the new organization has all the disciplines in-house. Furthermore, a broad IT knowledge center is created for even better serving end customers and its partners. Oaktree ICT Services has a technical background with its own service and consultancy organization within which highly skilled and certified professionals are employed. In addition, Oaktree has developed its own data center services for the business market.

For years, Sencit has been focusing on advising and consultancy of ICT Cloud services and Managed Services for end users in the business market. Sencit merged with MDRX, which provides connectivity solutions to other end customers through an indirect partner channel, back in 2017.

The new organization
45 professionals work for the new organization. The new management consists of Roland van der Hoek, Ronald Stroobach, Mark Versteeg, Stephan Kerkman and Dennis de Ree.

Company Name
The organizations remain active under their own name for the time being as part of the Oaktree Group. The name of the companies may change over time.

Ambitions
The ambitions of the new organization are great. A buy and build strategy will be applied in the coming years to grow within three to five years to an IT organization with a turnover of at least 30 million euros. The financial resources for realizing these ambitions are available. Discussions with potential takeover candidates are already underway. New candidates are also actively sought.
