The Oaktree Group joins Green Deal on Sustainable Care 2.0
On last May 15th, 32 parties, including the Oaktree Group, signed the Green Deal on Sustainable Care 2.0. By this, they express the intention to contribute to making the health care sector more sustainable. More specifically, this ambition is:
- 49% CO2 reduction by 2030;
- circular business operations;
- filter medicine residues from the waste water;
- a healthy environment and a better environment.
The step between health care and the Oaktree Group is not as big as it might seem at first sight. We are already quite active in this branche. And we work closely with Konica Minolta; a company that is very active in health care. We develop cloud printing solutions in close consultation with Konica Minolta. The printers are then controlled in such a way that considerably less paper and ink are needed.
The affiliation with the Green Deal Sustainable Care 2.0 goes along perfectly with the CSR vision of our organization. Although IT is our core business, there are more important things. The Oaktree Group has a partnership with KidsRights and is a friend of the Red Cross; organizations that do fantastic jobs and deserve maximum support.
